Cleaning is easy - simply hose it down, hand-wash, or even put it in your washing machine with a mild detergent. The rug is versatile and durable, making it suitable for repeated use.
Directions for use
Activation
To ensure the rugs work effectively, two elements are required: water and airflow. When using the rugs for the first time, it is recommended to wet them in a large bucket of water for 10-15 minutes. However, for future uses, a 2-5 minute soak in a large bucket will suffice. To ensure the horse stays comfortable, it is important to squeeze the water out of the straps and fillet string, so they are wet but not dripping. Once this is done, securely fasten the straps and fillet string to put them on the horse.
Application
After completing a competition or exercise, it is recommended to promptly place the rug on the horse. The horse should then be walked off either in hand, loaded into the trailer, or brought into the stable. The rug should be left on for approximately 25-35 minutes before returning to the horse's normal routine. Alternatively, the rug can be reapplied by wetting it again.
Recovery
The rug is highly effective in accelerating the recovery of the muscles and vital organs. It achieves this by efficiently reducing muscle heat, which in turn lowers the heart rate.
