The EquiFreeze Rug is poised to revolutionise the world of equestrian performance and competition. With ground breaking advanced evaporation technology the EquiFreeze Rug maximises equine performance and shortens recovery times by bringing together world leading technology, ergonomic comfort and outstanding aesthetic design.
The EquiFreeze Rug has been created to alleviate heat exhaustion and optimise muscle rejuvenation. EquiFreeze serves as the ultimate solution for combating hot weather and ensures the safety of horses in today’s increasingly warm climate.
Manufactuered with micro-perforation and cooling fibre properties to draw the heat away from the horses’ body. This dramatic and rapid cool down ensures peak muscle performance and speedy recovery.
The EquiFreeze is ideal for horse transit in hot conditions. It is incredibly easy to use - simply saturate the rug in cold water, shake off the excess and place it directly onto the horse.
The EquiFreeze Rug is a revolutionary solution that will eliminate the need for continuous hosing and scraping during periods of hot weather and before and after exercise. By simply applying water, the micro-perforation and cooling fibre technology is activated. Unlike other cooling rugs, the EquiFreeze Rug does not contain gel, beads or crystals, or require frozen inserts or electricity. Critically, EquiFreeze dramatically cools , but without posing any risk of tissue damage from extreme cold. Reactivating the cooling process is as simple as spraying the rug with cold water and walking the horse or flapping the sides to increase natural air flow. This product is incredibly easy to use and highly effective.
The EquiFreeze Rugs are designed to be placed directly on your horse without the need for a cover or sock to keep it debris free. Cleaning is easy - simply hose it down, hand-wash, or even put it in your washing machine with a mild detergent. The rug is versatile and durable, making it suitable for repeated use.
Directions for use
To ensure the rugs work effectively, two elements are required: water and airflow. When using the rugs for the first time, it is recommended to wet them in a large bucket of water for 10-15 minutes. However, for future uses, a 2-5 minute soak in a large bucket will suffice. To ensure the horse stays comfortable, it is important to squeeze the water out of the straps and fillet string, so they are wet but not dripping. Once this is done, securely fasten the straps and fillet string to put them on the horse.
After completing a competition or exercise, it is recommended to promptly place the rug on the horse. The horse should then be walked off either in hand, loaded into the trailer, or brought into the stable. The rug should be left on for approximately 25-35 minutes before returning to the horse's normal routine. Alternatively, the rug can be reapplied by wetting it again.
The rug is highly effective in accelerating the recovery of the muscles and vital organs. It achieves this by efficiently reducing muscle heat, which in turn lowers the heart rate. After using The EquiFreeze, hang the rug out to dry. Once completely dry, store it back in the original packaging for future use.
